Refund Policy 

We hope you love your piece of jewellery but if not we offer a seven day returns policy.


Items must be returned to us in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging.


Please note: earrings are non-refundable


To generate a return please email info@junkyardgem.co.uk with your name, order number and reasons for return.


Return postage is at your cost and we recommend using a tracked service.


It is important to understand, that you are responsible for the item until it is in the possession of Junkyard Gem officials.


Items lost or damaged in transit remain the responsibility of the sender and NOT Junkyard Gem.


Once the item has been received by Junkyard Gem, we will inspect it and, providing it is the same condition that it was when originally shipped by Junkyard Gem, the purchase will be refunded via your original payment method.


We will not offer refunds after seven days.


It is therefore important that you check your piece to make sure you are happy with it.


Please note resized rings either by us or yourself cannot be returned


Junkyard Gem does not hold responsibility for the jewellery after the seven day exchange period.


If you have any issues, repairs or maintenance with the jewellery after the seven day period please do get in touch and we will try to assist you with any issues.


We have a team of jewellers who are skilled with repairs however any repairs will be at your own expense.


We take meticulous care to authenticate our gemstones and this is done by a specialist.


However to fully evaluate a gemstone it needs to be removed from its setting.


Due to the nature of vintage and antique jewellery it would be unwise for us to do this.


As a result, occasionally there may be a mistake and gemstones are not as described.


In these rare cases we will be happy to offer a refund after the seven day returns period however, we are not liable further than this.


We take great care to accurate date our jewellery.


Some pieces are fully hallmarked with date stamp, others have partial hallmarks.


On the rare occasions that our dating is inaccurate, we are happy to offer full refund within seven days of purchases.
